Just recently, a mother has drowned her 2 twins in a bathtub on purpose. As USA Today News has reported in the article “Arizona mom says she drowned twin boys in bathtub.” Once the cops had arrived at the home the kids were sitting on the bed unresponsive. The mother had said she intionally drowned her twin boys and was trying to drown a 3rdbut was stopped by other family members. The father of the boys said that the mother had been suffering from depression and anixety, but had never been violent. This event effect the world because it is not leading in example. It is showing the wrong thing to do instead of the right thing to do. This event also effects me because it is very sad. I personally think that this is not okay to do because you are killing people.

Should there be stricter gun control laws?
Stricter gun control laws or no? That is a question that is frequently asked these days due to the increasing number of public shootings on college and school campuses, as well as, other public places around the world. Personally, I feel that the world would be much safer if stricter gun control laws were enforced.
First of all, stricter gun control laws are needed to limit the number of guns that an individual is able to purchase.
In doing so, there would be less resale to people who should not or cannot purchase them. This would help reduce the amount of violent crime committed on a daily basis.
Second, if someone is going to have a gun, they need to be required to have a gun license. Once again, this would limit the ability for just anyone to have a gun.
Also, stricter gun control laws need to be enforced in order to reduce the national suicide rate.
In closing, I know that by doing these things, it will not eliminate all crime, suicides, and shootings. However, it will reduce the amount of, and limit the ability, for these things to happen. The world would truly be a safer place with stricter gun control laws.
Swallowing Stones Book Review
Book Review
Swallowing Stones is a very interesting book. Although i don’t really like the ending. Swallowing Stones is a book about this boy named Michael McKenzie, that killed a girl’s father on accident. Now the police are involved and are investigating to find the killer of Charlie Ward. Ever since the shooting happened that had killed Jenna’s father, the police have been questioning everyone in the 4 blocks that the gun could have been shot from. The reason i don’t to much care for the ending is because you are never able to find out what happened to Michael McKenzie or his friend Joe. Even though the ending isn’t too well i strongly encourage you to read this book because it teaches you lesson, and the lesson is that anything can be all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

BLIND!
You can become blind very easy if you stare at the sun or a light for a long time.If you were wondering how this effect happens here is the cause! The sun (or light)burns your eyes which makes you see a black dot when you open them that means if you stare for a little bit longer then you could become blind that instant!I have always wondered why or how the sun could blind you but apparently we figured it out! So from now and on please don’t stare at the sun or a light for a long time because you know what will happen to your eyes! SO DON’T STARE AT THE SUNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Savannah Wilkinson 1-18-13
Heroes are all kind and very caring. They are also very helpful! My dad Wilkinson, is a hero because he is n ice, an EMS worker, and a softball coach.
My dad is very nice to me because he buys me things. I get to go to the mall and buy clothes and other things. He lets my friends spend the night with me and in the morning he goes to the Donut Box and gets us donuts!
He is also an EMS worker. He gives people medicine when they need it. He treats people by giving them breathing treatments and starting Iv’s on them and just things like that. Another job he does is he transports people to the hospital by ambulance.
He also is a softball coach. He is a good coach because he knows sports. Any time we want him to go outside and practice with us, he is always willing too.
My dad coaches very well. My dad is a great role model to look up too. He is very special to me.
