This morning,Fox News reports a women has been trapped in a subway fridge for 8 hours, the Subway will be in court this afternoon. The women that happened to be an employee had written across the glass door “Help Me” in tomato sauce. At first she was panicking and was trying to find anything that could open the door but nothing seemed to work. She was found the next morning by another employee. This effects the world because it shows people are not all good. Why would somebody want to lock someone in a fridge anyways! This also effects me because It tells me that everyone needs to be careful and watch their backs because you never know how crazy people really are.

As of Thursday, China, an already overpopulated country, is starting a policy where one couple can have more than one child. They can now have two children for every couple. CNN News reports that “To promote a balanced growth of population, China will continue to uphold the basic national policy of population control and improve its strategy on population development.” This makes me feel worried because China is already an overpopulated country and this will make it even more overpopulated if they can have more children. China is putting this policy in place because they have the oldest population with more than 400 million people over the age of 60. This affects the world because with this policy, the world population will skyrocket.

I like this picture because the little boy is cute. Also this relates to me because this little boy has dreams for his future and i also had dreams for my future, when I was younger. Even though this might not be what he actually wants to do when he gets older, he is still thinking about his future and that’s all that matters.

All of the journalists are in panic to get the yearbook out in time, due to a breach in the school’s computer system. There will be a meeting held on Friday to vote for the school board renting new computers.

The schools computers are to be shut off for up to 3 weeks, because of the breach. The school will now be getting a new security software.

“If the school doesn’t approve the $500 expenditure, I am not sure what we will do,” Rodney Stephen, yearbook advisor said.

In this case, if the yearbooks do not come out in time there will be no more tradition of where the seniors sign each other’s yearbooks, online “Yearbook day”.

“It would be weird not to have my senior friends to sign my yearbook before I graduate and go off to college,” Senior, Reggie White said.

“Yearbook Day” is one of the most favorite traditions at this school.

“Yearbook day is more popular than prom,” Reggie said.

There has just recently been a body found outside of the Bengals football stadium on thursday, CNN News reports in the article “Police investigating body found in porta potty outside Bengals stadium,”.It was just around 1:30 that a construction worker had found a body in the porta potty. According to the worker this situation seems to be drug related. There had not only been just that one body dead around that stadium though. Apparently there has been 2 in the past week.I personally think this event affects the world because who knows if the person could have been choked to death or anything. People need to be more cautious in the world today. Anything could happen at any time.This event also affects me because someone had died and no one found out till a few hours later. Next time you go anywhere rather it be a bathroom, store, or party make sure you have someone there to watch for you because people are crazy these days.

A women is in America to testify to congress, about being raped by a American man, by the name of Abu Abdullah Al Amriki CNN News states in the article Yazidi woman: I was raped by ‘American jihadi’.  The woman tells CNN that she was, along with 10 other girls raped. She says that the man would walk into the room and pray about 15 to 20 min before he did it. Then he would rape her. After he would go take a shower, pray again and come back in the next few hours. This effects the world because we know that there are bad people out the that arnt doing the right thing. Also not leading in example. The event effects me because it is very upsetting to know that there are people that do things like this.

Just currently in China, 3 men are being prosecuted over killing a giant panda and selling its meat. As told on CNN News, Pandas are endangered, but many people see these creatures to be national treasure. According to the men, they had just been looking for the predator that killed their sheep. They explained to the reporters that they saw a large animal and killed it, there was a tree in the way and didn’t know it was a panda until after they had shot it. The police had searched the brothers house and had found parts of a skull and other things inside the home. I personally think this event effects the world because a bear is an endangered species and has no right to be killed, this also may effect people because they respect their prey and know that this is sad and not the right thing to do. This event effects me because personally I think they probably knew it was a panda and shot it on purpose, when it could have been any other animal that killed their sheep. This whole situation is in the wrong.

Lead 1. Students will be receiving extended lunch periods by (10) minutes, giving them a 45 minute lunch. In doing this, RHHS will start having an open campus lunch policy.

Lead 2. Walmart has announced that Rock-Hill will be receiving the new super Walmart. They feel that Rock Hill is such a growing community that they can handle (2) locations.

Lead 3. Due to Napolean being a genius, he will go to high school as a 6th grader.

Lead 4. According to a survey released by CAPC yesterday, 3-4 children die every day in the U.S. due to abuse or neglect.

Lead 5. 16,000.00 in damages to a two-bedroom home in the 2300 block of Main ST. Fire Officials said the fire was started by a cigarette. They had the fire under control within (5) minutes.

As told in the CNN News article, “It’s a clock, not s bomb.” and innocent freshman student has created a clock to impress his teacher. He takes the clock to school and shows her it. The teacher got offended by it and  the school called the police and had him arrested. CNN News reporters say that the police told he was arrested for a crime of a hoax bomb. The 14 year old had later told WFAA that he was confused and upset about the situation that had taken place. He said that he had meant to impress her not to threaten her in any way. I think this has an effect on the world because it is an innocent 14 year old getting arrested for something that he didn’t need to be. This also has an effect on me because its very upsetting, and was not the right thing to do!
